Andrea Tarka White, L.Ac.
While a student at the University of Connecticut, I studied Chinese language and culture, and received my bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in psychology. I received my master of science degree in acupuncture from the New York campus of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and I studied at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, with clinical rotations at He Ping Li Hospital, Mei Tan Hospital and Tian Tan Hospital in Beijing, China.
In 2012, I started working with Mirmont Treatment Center, an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in Lima, PA, that is part of the Main Line Health system. I provide daily acupuncture treatments for members of the detox community to help mitigate withdrawal symptoms such as insomnia, depression, anxiety, anger and pain.
I am a Reiki Holy Fire II master and a graduate of the four-year Way of Love training program of self-transformation and healership at Inner Source Healing in Malvern, PA. During my tenure at Inner Source, I completed courses in self-mastery and ego transformation, and I co-facilitated the “Human Anatomy and Energy Healing” courses and “Fear No Evil” training sessions.
I've seen acupuncture and energy healing make a huge difference in people's lives, from reducing pain to increasing quality of life. I love helping others find more passion, more pleasure, and more ease in their lives and their relationships. I practice "Pintuition" – a blend of acupuncture, energy healing, intuitive reasoning, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I long to share my enthusiasm, my experience, and my heart with all of you.
